LuxFLAG modernises its environment with DEEP

With a view to providing its teams with digital tools tailored to their needs, LuxFLAG has chosen DEEP to deploy and manage a brand new IT environment, based in the cloud. By relying on a single partner to cover all its needs, the association specialising in sustainable finance has gained in agility, flexibility and efficiency.

LuxFLAG is an association whose ambition is to support the development of sustainable finance and responsible investment in Luxembourg and more widely in Europe. Independent and a pioneer in this field, it acts in particular by awarding labels to eligible investment vehicles, with a view to reassuring investors that their investments are genuinely responsible.

 

Meeting the needs of teams

LuxFLAG was looking for a new partner to modernise its IT management and provide its employees with a working environment tailored to their needs. We're a team of around a dozen people,’ explains Hélène Lang, Head of Office - Human Resources, Finance, Administration & IT. In order to support our business, it was important to offer our employees tools tailored to their needs. One of the challenges was to facilitate document sharing and collaboration, for example by enabling two remote team members to work on the same document at the same time.

 

Gaining autonomy

Until recently, the association did not have an in-house IT department. It could rely on the help of another association, with which it shared the same office infrastructure, to meet its technical needs. ‘However, these needs have evolved. It was important for us to become more autonomous, so that we could respond more quickly to requests from our teams,’ continues Mélodie Lebeau, Finance, Administration and IT Assistant at LuxFLAG. So we turned to the market to identify the players capable of understanding all our needs and supporting us in this transformation.

 

A unique partner

LuxFLAG was looking for a supplier capable of meeting all its IT and connectivity needs, and guaranteeing the accessibility, availability and security of its systems. ‘We wanted to be able to rely on a partner capable of taking care of everything and helping us to evolve over time, for example by offering effective collaboration solutions and a responsive support service,’ says Mélodie Lebeau.

 

The Cloud, a lever for improving collaboration

To meet all these needs, LuxFLAG turned to DEEP and opted for the Connected Office solution from the operator and IT integrator dedicated to professional players. ‘Our entire IT environment is now managed by DEEP's teams, using Microsoft's cloud services in Europe. This gives us access to a range of tools that can be tailored to our needs, such as Sharepoint and Teams,’ explains Hélène Lang. We don't have to manage physical servers, and our partner can guarantee us a high level of service availability.

 

Personalised follow-up

The choice of DEEP as our exclusive IT partner was made after an analysis of various offers from players in the market. ‘We were convinced by the way the teams listened to us. We were already familiar with the reputation for quality of the POST teams. The integration of the group's various entities (DIGORA, EBRC, ELGON and POST Telecom) into a single structure also appealed to us. The idea of having a single point of contact able to meet a wide range of needs was exactly what we were looking for,’ continues Hélène Lang. Our fear, as a small organisation, was that our requests would not be given priority. But that's not the case. We benefit from a personalised service and our contacts when we submit requests are often the same people. They know us and are able to respond effectively.
 

The DEEP team supported LuxFLAG throughout its migration, from taking over the elements previously managed by another IT team to implementing the new environment. ‘Today, we are more autonomous. We can respond more effectively to the needs of our teams. The collaborative tools and telephony via Teams enable us to carry out our tasks much more quickly,’ explains Hélène Lang. Thanks to the dynamism of our partner, this solution has made our lives a lot easier.
